Kayla is a New York & New Jersey based artist and educator whose practice bridges visual storytelling and inclusive pedagogy. With a background in studio art, museum studies, and child development, her work in the classroom centers on creating spaces where young people can express themselves freely and authentically. She has taught in schools, community programs, and believes deeply in the power of art to build confidence, connection, and curiosity. In addition to teaching, she has curated group exhibitions and illustrated a children’s book used as an educational tool by the Columbia University Celiac Disease Center.
